Who are we?

Our podcast explores and extolls all that breathes the mission of Christ–whether exciting or exasperating. Our goal is to celebrate the vocation and the passion of missionaries called to the greatest work given to the family of God. Christian respect, Biblical ecumenical cooperation, and ministerial humility mark to path forward for the insights, stories, and discernment shared by guest hosts and contributors offering all For The Mission.

Contributors will bring content in the important categories of Analysis (Research, Planning, Strategy, Metrics), Compassion (Pastoral Ministry, Service Ministry), Mentoring (Discipleship), Leadership (Focus, Organization, Q and A), Partnership (Profiles, Giving), Harvest (Church Planting, Open Doors, Fruit), and Inspiration (Study, Time, Champions).

Watsons I Presume?

Our family has served Church growth and Christian mission for over 29 years in North America, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, and the Asian-Pacific. We have been blessed with a Christian family now spanning the globe! Please find the chronology of ministry and mission below from 1993 through to the present.

1993 Houston, TX – inner city ministry to the homeless, a mission of independent Christian Churches.

1994 Nitra, Slovakia – church plant, orphan ministry, and teaching ministry through English as 2nd Language program, a mission of independent Christian Churches.

1996 Prague, Czech Republic – church plant missions internship, evangelism, philosophy conference facilitator, a mission of independent Christian Churches in cooperation with the Hussite/Moravian Church.

1997 Gorlovka, Ukraine – church plant missions internship, evangelism, orphan ministry, and teaching ministry through English as 2nd Language program, a mission of independent Christian Churches.

2020-present Mercy Ministry – outreach to neighborhood, outreach to area homeless, works of service/care for elderly homes and maintenance, pastoral grief counseling, hosted online/virtual small groups, counseled dislocated Christians experiencing loneliness through the pandemic. What about comments?

You are encouraged to participate and leave comments in kindness and with positivity. Comments will be filtered for negativity, falsehoods, attacks, and/or abuse. When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

What about branded media?

Media will be reviewed for approval before being attached to any profiles established for ministry/mission promotion. If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website. Please remember to keep any Christians in threatened lands safe from unnecessary persecution, torture, or martyrdom through any data you provide. 

What about site tracking (cookies)?

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

Who do we share your data with?

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. We do not forward, sell, or transfer your data to any third-party organization.

How long do we retain your data?

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights do you have over your data?

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where do we send your data?

Using trusted ministry databases, let us know how we may help you further with any information about us or about our ministry. We will do our best to reply within a few days. Our primary communication is through email, due to cost and filtering needs. However, please write in the comments if you would like to schedule a call/chat via secure messaging, such as WhatsApp or Signal. Blessings!
