Write a brief description of the project.
Peace, perfect peace. Though the world is diverse, the need is universal. In sharing my calling and raising support with a church, I described my ordination and commissioning as joining my light to Christ in the darkness of a searching world. It was here that I found my purpose in God’s passion.
I was affirmed in ministry growing up in Non-denominational churches of the USA in the Rocky Mountains and the Ohio River valley. Through my school years, I served in church building programs, student ministry, teaching, and worship teams. Participation in the body of Christ was taken for granted. But in my early college years as I studied business leadership, my professors asked me to consider my gifting as a calling to mission vocation was evident. After some hesitation, I decided to test their wisdom by joining in missions to inner city Houston and later an internship to the Slovak Republic. In so doing, God spoke to my heart confirming what others had already seen.
The encouragement of others was a motivator to seek my spiritual vocation and has taught me the immense importance of lifting up the evident spiritual gifting in others to seek God’s purpose in their lives. This has been something for which I sacrifice and choose difficulty, even bi-vocational ministry if necessary to fulfill my purpose For The Mission. – Matthew Watson, founding host-missionary
